Welcome home, Indians!
We are excited to invite all Hayti High School alumni, family, and friends to join us for the Second Annual Hayti High School Alumni Reunion — Homecoming Weekend 2026. This is more than a reunion. It is a celebration of where we came from, the people who shaped us, and the community we continue to carry with us wherever we go.
This year we are going bigger: more events, more ways to connect, and more opportunities to give back to the students and families still calling Hayti home. Whether you are coming for the tailgate, the gala, the picnic, or all of the above, there is something for everyone this weekend!
We can't wait to see you. September 25–27, 2026 — Hayti, Missouri. Come ready to celebrate.
What's Happening this Weekend
EVENT-BY-EVENT WEEKEND BREAKDOWN
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25 — Tailgate + Football Game
$10 per person | Setup opens 3:00 PM | DJ 5:00–6:30 PM | Kickoff 7:00 PM
Kick off reunion weekend at the homecoming tailgate before the big game. Setup opens at 3:00 PM — bring your own tent, chairs, and food, and claim your spot on the field. The DJ plays from 5:00 to 6:30 PM before kickoff. This is a true tailgate experience — come early, get settled, and enjoy the energy of homecoming night. Your $10 tailgate entry covers your game admission as well. Hard cutoff for setup is 5:30 PM, so plan to arrive with enough time to get set up.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26 — Scholarship Breakfast
Location: Hayti High School Cafeteria
$15 per person | 8:30–10:00 AM
The Scholarship Breakfast is one of the most meaningful events of the entire weekend. This is an opportunity for Hayti alumni to directly invest in the next generation of graduates from our community.
Here is how it works: Hayti High School seniors who opt in will attend the breakfast and present their post-graduation plans to the alumni in the room. Plans may include college, military service, entrepreneurship, or direct employment. After hearing from the seniors, alumni have the opportunity to "adopt" a senior — making a financial commitment or mentorship pledge to support that student's next step.
This year we are also working to fund study abroad opportunities for qualifying seniors. Your $15 ticket is your seat at the table. What you choose to give beyond that is entirely up to you. However, we do have a target goal in mind for each student as we plan to take them on a study abroad trip.
We are especially hoping to see our more established alumni at this event. Come ready to be inspired — and to make a difference in a young person's life.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26 — Alumni Picnic
Location: Hayti City Park
$25 per person | 12:00 PM onward
An afternoon in the park with the whole Hayti family. General admission includes burgers, hot dogs, chips, and cold drinks. Local vendors will also be on-site selling food and other items — open to all attendees. We'll have lawn games and a spades tournament running throughout the afternoon. Come hungry and stay as long as you like.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26 — Gala: A Black & Gold Casino Night
Location: Hayti High School Gym
$50 per person | 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM | Black tie/suit and tie required
This is the main event of the weekend — and we are pulling out all the stops. This year's gala is a casino-style all-black affair. Dress to impress, walk the gold carpet, and get your pictures taken as you arrive for a night you will not forget.
Inside, you will find a catered dinner, raffles, music, and prizes throughout the evening. We will be honoring our 2026 Wall of Fame inductees — alumni who have gone out into the world and made Hayti proud — as well as our Alumni of the Year. This is a black-tie event. Suit and tie at minimum. Come looking like the legend you are.
2026 Wall of Fame Inductees Include:
William Moore – Class of 2004
Rita Johnson-Mills – Class of 1977
Mayor Lisa Green – Class of 1985
Allan Suttle – Class of 1996
Allison Whitener – Class of 1994
Derik Jackson - Class of 2002
2026 Alumnus of the Year
Karlton Humes – Class of 2011
Congratulations to all our honorees! We look forward to celebrating you!
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27 — Farewell Brunch (Optional Add-On)
Location: Hayti Heights Central School Lot
$25 per person | 10:30 AM | Optional
A relaxed Sunday morning sendoff before everyone heads home. This event is fully optional and is not included in the standard weekend package. It is designed for alumni who are staying through Sunday and want one last chance to sit down together before hitting the road. You will not be charged for the brunch unless you select it during registration.
